DISCOVER TOGETHER. / THE PUPPY JOURNEY
Six weeks of one-to-one puppy coaching, shaped around the questions and challenges in your home.
Clare works with you to understand the puppy in front of you, find a steady rhythm at home and help them explore the world at their own pace. What you practise together in these early months can shape life with your dog for years to come.
PRACTICE IN THE LIFE YOU SHAREHandle everyday moments such as toilet accidents, mouthing, chewing, sleep and greetings with a practical next step.
Understand what’s happening with your puppy, what to try and how to tell whether it’s helping.
Build a workable rhythm for toileting, rest, play and short training sessions, then adjust it as your puppy grows.
Practise your timing and rewards, break a skill into achievable steps, and know how to progress recall, walking and other skills beyond the easy practice stage.
Notice comfort, uncertainty and rising excitement through their body language and behaviour. Know when to continue, make something easier, take a break or try the next step.
Know what socialisation and habituation really are and how to use them to give your puppy a strong foundation for their adult lives.
THE SIX WEEKS
By the end of six weeks, you won’t just know more things to teach your puppy. You’ll understand how your puppy learns, be better able to read what they’re telling you, and have a practical way to teach, adjust and solve problems as they grow and explore life alongside you.
Start with a 90-minute video call. If your puppy is home, show Clare where they rest, play or get stuck. Tell her what matters to you and choose a useful first step together.
Book your four 50-minute online follow-ups as you need them during the six weeks. You do not have to schedule them all at the start. Work on things like settling, coming back to you or greeting visitors, with Clare coaching you and adjusting the next step for your puppy.
Send a question or a short, 1–2-minute video by email or WhatsApp. Clare responds during the working week, so you don’t have to hold every question until the next call.
Your puppy does not need to perform perfectly on camera. We can practise together on a video call, then use a short clip from your kitchen, garden or walk to see what helped and what to try next.
SEE COACHING IN PRACTICE
Puppies have a knack for practising the unexpected: a puddle after the toilet trip, a leap at the door, a sock disappearing under the table. Here are five moments we could work through together.
Your puppy comes back inside and has an accident. Show Clare the usual rhythm of sleep, meals, play and trips outdoors. Together you adjust the timing and build a toileting routine your household can actually follow.
Your sleeves become irresistible every evening. We look at what happens before the biting, including play, rest and excitement, then choose a response that fits your puppy and that everyone at home can use.
Your puppy leaps up when someone arrives. Show Clare what happens, then practise the small steps before and during a greeting that give your puppy another way to say hello. Try it again when the next visitor calls.
You would rather get the sock back than start a game of chase. Practise an exchange and reward your puppy for bringing found things towards you, first somewhere easy, then when there really is a sock.
Your puppy slows down or seems unsure somewhere new. A short clip can help Clare and you look at what they may be showing. Together you decide whether to give space, make the experience easier or try again another day.

The aim is to leave with more than an answer for today. You’ll get better at noticing what your puppy needs, teaching them clearly and finding another way forward when the first try does not quite work.
The Puppy Journey is for puppies from 8 weeks to 5 months at enrolment. You may be getting ready to bring yours home, or already finding your feet together. It suits first-time owners, people welcoming a new puppy after years with dogs, and families helping a puppy settle in alongside children. We start with the questions and everyday moments that matter in your home.
If you want shorter help with a defined challenge for a puppy up to 12 months, Focused Puppy Support may fit better. If reactivity or aggression is a concern, email Clare before booking. She can help you choose suitable support, including in-person help where that would be more useful.

The sessions are online. The learning happens with your puppy in the places you live together.
